What are your top 3 networking tips?

  • Enjoy yourself. Just like a smile on the telephone, people know if you are faking it.
  • Remember peoples names. Write it down, or make a quick note on your phone’s ’Notes’ tool. We all really feel special when we are addressed by our name.
  • Be memorable. Wear something just a little bit different. Professional, but expressive. White shirt and black suit is smart, but its hard to tell one yellow cab from the next.
