Social Media Education for business wanting growth in their business using Social Media Platforms that will engage, entertain and educate their customers, and prospects. Social Media is just not about a ”presence” on Social Media but it is about what to do, and how to do it correctly to gain the exposure that will give the business excellent results using strategies.As an expert educator in this field we can show business the how, the why and the when, with the correct solutions to the confusion.

What are your top 3 networking tips?

Develop ongoing relationships.
Keep networking – once just doesn’t cut it.
Learn what your network, learn about them show interest when you meet someone new and develop a rapport.. it is not always about you!

What can’t you live without?

My husband, my computer, my Ipad, my Iphone,my family,my car,my fiends and electricity…… I need it to charge my phone, ipad, computer and my hairdryer.

Which Business Book Would Your Recommend & Why?

I love Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki. – I have it on my ipad and I can pick out pieces to read at any given time. I also love Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T Harv Eker,as he has some awesome content and some great quotes that I can relate to such as ”The only time you are actually growing is when you are uncomfortable” – ”To get pai, you must be the best”.

How Did Your Find Out About BNI & Why Did You Join?

I was asked by a BNI member. I had not heard what it was, I didn’t go until she had asked me about 5 times, and I went to get her OFF my back. It really was not the right mix for my particular business at the time, however, since starting my new business and it being a service industry business, I knew that the fit would be great for my personal growth, some valuable learning, and awesome networking.

What value & benefit have you or your business gained by being a BNI Member?

I have met some amazing people, and developed great networks who have become colleagues and friends as well. I have obtained a few customers directly from the chapter, but the outside referral work has been incredible.I have also grown within myself, and the learning that comes from BNI is absolutely crucial to any business wanting to grow.

What Do You Wish Someone Had Told Your When You First Joined BNI? 

I was happy to learn as I went along, as I believe if you do know too much, you stifle yourself and don’t learn from what you don’t know. So if I had wanted to know I could have investigated further, which I did.. I ”googled” and learnt what I needed to know which made me aware that I needed to wait until my new business venture began before joining as it was the right fit for BNI.

Do You Have a BNI Story to share?

My BNI story is that I applied for one chapter, and was rejected…. sad but true. I felt a sense of rejection as I didn’t feel that I was aligned to any of those business that felt I was similar to them. However, from that experience I grew, and I am so very pleased with the chapter that took me in. They are a remarkable group of business owners and they and I are a great ”fit”. I am still able to align myself to the other chapter so all is not lost. The process was a little bit intimidating at the time, but again that is part of the growth and learning that comes from being a BNI member.

Your Dream Referral Is…

My dream referral, is an organisation with 10-15 employees with a solid marketing budget that wants me to develop their Social Media Marketing Strategy.
