I’m on a mission to help the small local businesses of Australia thrive against the big boys (the mass corporations) of today’s marketplace. I save them $1,000s on advertising that just isn’t working and help create an active community. I love what I do!

What are your top 3 networking tips?

  • Go with the intention to sell NOTHING, people hate being sold to.
  • Take your time, always schedule time either side of an event to make the most of it.
  • Follow up. Get back in contact with people who you meet at events.

What can’t you live without?

Facebook (sorry), my family, access to a great butcher and a fruit/veg market

The trainer of a course I was attending mentioned it. I visited a couple of chapters to start with. I decided to join because of the group dynamics and energy in the meeting.

What Do You Wish Someone Had Told Your When You First Joined BNI? 

The more you put in, the more you get out. I was told this, but I don’t think I really understood just how important this was.
